BAT: The History
Bay Area Tactical was formed in June of 2006, under the command of team founder/captain Mark Sual. Comprised primarily of players from the Bay Area of California, BAT has grown into a highly-capable and trained team of young men and women. While we do strive to maintain a high sense of tactical proficiency on the field, our primary objective is to enjoy the game.
Our Areas of Operation have ranged from Boggs Mountain in the north, to the FA Chilkoot Field near Oakhurst and Hill 559 in Clovis, to the Lenix Airsoft Field in the high desert of Southern California. We have worked with and against teams such as Fireteam Ghost, ODA Ronin, Team SOCOM, TF20, and Striker 6. Our shooters have been trained in both ‘blackside’ and ‘greenside’ operations, but our emphasis lies in MOUT operations.

Our team members strive to play almost every weekend. Our Operational Tempo has been at an unprecedented high in the past year, and the increased level of action has paid off.
Although our core team members are all originally from the Bay Area, we now have shooters stationed in the Northern, Central, and Southern regions of California.
